A Gold Of A Glow… Mask

Happy Face Mask Friday! This week I decided to add some glow (and gold!) to my skincare routine with Oh K!’s Glowing Skin Gold Foil Sheet Mask. This K Beauty mask fights the sings of aging and acne while soothing the skin and leaving a healthy glow. But why? Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients:

  • Gold – Gold is a great skincare ingredient known for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improving skin elasticity and leaving the skin glowing.
  • Apple – Packed with Vitamin C, this ingredient prevents premature agin, leaves the skin glowing and treats acne and dark spots.
  • Cherry – Did you know that Cherry is known for treating acne and rosacea? It also fights free radicals.
  • Chamomilla Flower – This ingredient is great for soothing the skin.

The Verdict: I love this mask! It really left my skin soothed and brighter. Plus, it even reduced the naturally red undertones to my skin. I will definitely be making this mask a part of my regular routine.

A Tea Tree Of A Mask

Who else is glad it’s Friday?! I know I am, and that means it’s time for another Face Mask Friday. Woohoo!

A little over a week ago, I received 16 different K Beauty face masks from Cos W Cosmetics, and I decided to try the Tea Tree one first. Tea Tree Oil is such a great ingredient for skin. It has the ability to soothe sensitive skin, calm redness, reduce inflammation, clear up breakouts and so much more.

The Verdict: With the scent of tea tree oil (it kind of smelled like a spa!), this face mask felt soothing to the skin from the moment is was applied. And the Tencel Cupro Fabric (it’s thinner and more absorbent than cotton) this mask is made out of almost magnetically sticks to the skin and stays in place. Afterwards, my skin felt refreshed and in the following days, my breakouts from a derma roller experience (we’ll go into that later) started to go away. You should totally check out this affordable face mask (it comes in the pack of 16 for only $9.99).

Just A Little Healing Mask

A huge thank you to The Healing Tree for sending me these Collagen Face Masks for Acne Prone Skin to review. I tried one earlier this week, and the mask has a relaxing minty scent and feels very cooling on the skin.

This mask is both environmentally friendly (it even uses biodegradable paper) and filled with effective ingredients. See below:

  • Fish Collagen – Did you know fish collagen is a Type 1 collagen that absorbs more efficiently than any other form of collagen? It is a great anti-aging ingredient that makes the skin look smoother and firmer while increasing cell regeneration.
  • Calendula – Extracted from Marigolds, Calendula oil is thought to possess antibacterial and anti-inflammatory elements, which makes it a common skincare ingredient to fight and clear up acne.
  • Tea Tree Oil – Tea Tree Oil is known to have a lot of benefits for skin. It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiseptic elements, making it a great ingredient to fight acne, soothe skin and itchiness and even help heal wounds.

After using this face mask, I did not notice much of an immediate difference in my skin… BUT, in the following days, I did notice that my breakouts started to clear up. That said, if you are looking for a mask that works instantly, this might not be for you. But if you are ok waiting a couple days for the ingredients of this mask to improve your skin, you should totally check it out.

If you are interested in this mask, or other masks I have tried, you can find it at in my new Amazon Influencer Store https://www.amazon.com/shop/totaltash

*Please note that these masks were sent to me for free by The Healing Tree and Shop Trendship to try.

Something Old, Something New

I love collecting clothes. The beauty of clothes is what goes around comes around, so with that collection comes an abundant wardrobe that ends up being more affordable in the end. While not all of my old clothes fit thanks to two little girls and a post-baby body, I’m still lucky enough to have some items that still do the trick.

Now, I have fun shopping my closet and pairing old pieces with new items. Take this outfit for example. I just got these Wild Fable jeans for $20 at Target earlier this week and paired them with this leopard print jacket (that has been in my closet for a lot of years) and viola… I have a fresh outfit that only cost me $20 in recent years.

In addition to shopping my closet, I also tried the Laura Mercier’s metallic eyeshadows I received in my Influenster Vox Box. I love the Caviar Stick Eye Color. It goes on smoothly and even. Plus, the Magnetic Pink is so pretty on. As for the Caviar Chrome Veil Liquid Eye Color in Rose Gold Metal… The color is very pretty, but it goes on very blotchy. That said, as soon as I blended it in, it looked great, especially paired with Pixi Beauty’s Antique Rose and Metallic Rose shadows from their Eye Reflection Shadow Palette.

Sugar Cookies… and Gloss

Processed With Darkroom

I love MAC Cosmetics lip glosses. And I love a good sale. So imagine how much I love this sale alert?! MAC’s Oh Sweetie Lip Glosses are part of Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale!

I am a huge fan of this lip line and wear this pink lip gloss all the time. The color is called Sugar Cookies (and it smells and tastes like a sugar cookie too… ummm, yum!!!), and it’s the perfect combination of a shimmery unique hue that still works for an everyday look. You should totally check it out at the link below. Enjoy!
